Our center of operation for the island of Mindanao in located in Pinamanculan, but we reach out into the neighboring villages with the good news of Jesus' Love.
When we began working with this group in 2000, the church house had a dirt floor, thatched roof and plank board walls with benches to sit on. There was no kitchen facilities to speak of and no electricity.
By November 2005 when this picture was taken, the church building had been improved to include masonry walls, a concrete floor, Galvanized roof, and an enclosed kitchen facility
The Ladies of the church volunteer their time to work in the kitchen that the Lord has blessed the church to have. It is actually quite modern by the local standards. Protected from the weather and still well ventilated.
God has been good to this body of believers as they have labored diligently to serve the Lord. The facility here has been a real asset in growing the ministry activities and has allowed us to reach out in many ways to the community here in Pinamonculan.
The November 2005 Thanksgiving Celebration was a time of great Joy and Rejoicing for the people of the Butuan Region as we gathered together in Pinamonculon to share the blessings of God.
